Hi. Just wondering how many people are planning on camping v staying in the hostel? I'd quite like to camp but have only just booked onto the trip so don't have much time to shop around for a tent etc (and don't really want to rush into it and end up getting the wrong one), but also don't want to be the only one who isn't camping?! 😂

Hi, it is up to you if you choose to camp or not, but we would strongly recommend giving the camping a go, it makes the trip a wilder experience and is much more realistic of a mountain expedition. On previous courses everyone has tried camping for at least one of the nights. Trying out camping in winter is also a great experience as it gives you a chance to test out your kit and see if it's suitable for the conditions. We pitch in the woodland behind the hostel so it's a lovely spot. Let us know if you have any more questions
I won't be camping either (also don't have the equipment), so you don't be the only one x
